SMIMS Technology is a small innovative technology company in Taiwan. Our Features

In 2007, VeriEnterprise, an FPGA development and verification platform, was used as an entrepreneurial product. Users adopting the VeriEnterprise development platform can be highly compatible with software environments (such as Ç ++, Matlab), and are popular among users in the field of multimedia and communications;
In 2012, further integrated FPGA and CPU modules to form a unique SOC development platform;
In 2016, the company began to develop indoor positioning technology. The VILS (VeriPrecision Indoor Location System) system developed exclusively by SMIMS uses UWB (Ultra Wide Band) as the carrier with an accuracy of +/- 20cm, which is the world's highest indoor positioning accuracy system. one.
At present, SMIMS's development platform products have a group of loyal customers in domestic research institutions and university laboratories.

Industry-University Interaction and Innovation

We maintain good industry-academia interactions with domestic universities and colleges. In the field of innovation research, SMIMS's product and support service capabilities are often talked about by advanced institutions in the academic world. Provide long-term summer internship opportunities for students, through industry-academia exchanges, promote students to understand the industry situation earlier, and enhance Taiwan ’s electronics industry.

In 2017, SMIMS participated in the "Program The World" activity, designing and developing experimental platforms, providing students in primary and secondary schools with access to electronic product development, and injecting more blood into Taiwan's electronic ecosystem.

History

Established in October 1993, SMIMS Technology Corp. combines technical guidance from academia, industry marketing channels and product control processes to commercialize the results of years of research.

The company was approved by the Industrial Research Institute of the Ministry of Economic Affairs in November of 1993 as a "emerging important strategic industry" and entered the "South Taiwan Innovation Park Incubation Center" in December of the same year. The company adopts the business philosophy of "group management, division of labor". Members of the board of directors and the heads of various departments set up an "operation committee" to work together to formulate the company's overall business goals, and then assign the work to each department for implementation.

The SMIMS team is dedicated to the research and development of new products and technologies, and provides corresponding solutions by virtue of its deep R & D capabilities. Not only can it help customers shorten the R & D process, it can further reduce development costs, and increase their market competitiveness. Its services include semiconductor design companies, integrated component manufacturing companies, and semiconductor wafer fabs.
